Aluminum alloy cast parts are laid out in a grid on trays, and the trays are stacked in a wire container. XYZ vision guides the robot to pick the parts on a tray one by one and places the parts onto a CNC for machining. After finishing a tray, the robot needs to pick up the tray to reach the next layer. XYZ vision then locates the empty spot in the downstream bin to stack the parts.
